Coverages Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS),
under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed
NAUSS Participates VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, participated in the 19th
in the 19th Arab Arab Conference of Heads of Civil Protection Agencies.
Conference of Heads The conference took place in Marrakech on Thursday,
of Civil Protection December 7, 2023. NAUSS was represented by its Vice-
Agencies (Civil President for External Relations, Mr. Khaled bin
Defense) Abdulaziz Al-Harfash.

The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Mohamed
Fawzi Alwali, the general inspector of the ministry
of interior in the Kingdom of Morocco, representing
the Moroccan minister of interior the chairperson
of the Conference. Mr. Alwali expressed his pride in
being part of the opening ceremony of this significant
conference, which provided a valuable platform for
addressing key emerging issues related to Arab civil
protection and defense systems. The conference
aimed to assess the current state of civil protection/
defense systems and draw insights from lessons
learned to drive further development.

It is worth mentioning that the conference
discussed several topics, including developments
and emerging issues concerning the risks of
environmental pollution and ways of combating
them, as well as cooperation in fields of search and
rescue between civil protection agencies.
